He started the career with Dhanuka Agro Limited in the year 1995 to 2002 and trained personnel for different processes from harvesting & farm gate collection, receiving fresh produce for processing, sorting, washing, grading, packing & labeling, storage and distribution. The main contribution was to streamline the processes for wheat, paddy and various agricultural production.
In 2002 he was selected by Delmonte USA for overseeing their plantations in Ecuador & Costa Rica majorly for Banana as well for streamlining plantations of various agriculture produce as a part of backward integration for their supply chain management in Ecuador and Philippines. The key reporting activity was focused from selection of the right breed of fruit or vegetable, plantation of the same with fruit care arrangements and focusing on the right yield per land area. He was associated with DELMONTE ® till 2014 and in this span he held various senior position and gained rich experience and networking in exporting of fresh produce as well quality management as per international standards.
In 2014, he returned back to India and started merchant trading business of mangoes, grapes, pomegranate, banana and few more to distribute in domestic market, he also gave consultancy to various large and mid-size companies for setting up grapes and onion verticals and cold stores with their in-house ripening facilities.
After few years he acquired Trident AgroCom Exports Pvt. Ltd. and became the key promoter of the company, however due to his NON COMPETE AGREEMENT with his previous employer DELMONTE which was valid till December 2020, so he came on Board of the company in January 2021 and passed on his entire expertise and rich experience for setting up the fresh produce division from sourcing to distribution level for the export market. The key result area being to understand the export market demand, selection of the fruits, sourcing the key regions, liaise with team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals, plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress, supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback, evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements, manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation, oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction, review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability, revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation, manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors, evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics, ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
